Community Empowerment | We believe that people understand their own needs far better than anyone else and as a result should have the power both to define and act upon them. By empowering the community we will be enabling people to play an active role in the decisions that affect their environment.

For us, empowerment is meant to enhance the possibilities for people to control their own lives by improving their social, economic and educational opportunities.

Improve essentials basic literacy training will be the the foundation of our work – but it does not stop there.

The basis of our community projects will be to encourage those in such communities to be self-sustainable so that in the long-term, they can operate independently and be self-sufficient.
